November 25, 2021The project “Professional training for the European Labor Market” project aims to implement 4 practice internships in real working conditions for students from the “services” profile.At the same time, the project aims to facilitate the participation of two teachers specialized in professional practice, at a 2-weeks training course in the field of organizing traineeships in real working conditions.
Within the project, a total of 40 participants, divided into 4 professional qualifications (technician in economic activities, technician in tourism, technician in public catering and technician in food industry), will undergo an internship placement in real working conditions, during a 3-week, according to the professional training standards that are specific to each professional qualification.
The project participants are split as it follows:
– 10 participants – students in the 11th grade, registered to the “services” profile, with “technician in economic activities” qualification.
– 10 participants – students in the 11th grade, registered to the “services” profile, with “technician in public nutrition” qualification.
– 10 participants – students in the 10th grade, registered to the “services”profile, with “tourism technician” qualification.
– 10 participants – students in the 10th grade, registered to the “services” profile with “alimentary industry” qualification.
This way, there will be covered 4 professional qualifications from a total number or 5, at the “services” profile, at the high school.
Each mobility flux (group of students) will be accompanied by an attendant teacher. It is necessary to have accompanying teachers, because in each mobility flux, there will be at least 7 minors.
The accompanying teachers will guide and supervise the participants throughout the practical training and will ensure that the practical activities correspond to the learning objectives of the participants. The accompanying teachers will organize together with the hosting partners, the cultural
training program for the participants.
The specific objectives of the project are:
O1. Increasing the quality and the volume of vocational training VET learners by implementing the ECVET system in order to ensure the transparency, certification, validation and recognition of learning outcomes gained by the students at European level in order to facilitate their integration into a multicultural economic environment.
O2. Strengthen the existing partnerships in order to ensure the ECVET transfer and also the transfer of good practices regarding organizing internships.
O3. Improving professional skills and competencies for the students from our school by developing internships in real working conditions.
O4:Acquisition of new professional competencies by the two teachers in organizing traineeships in real working conditions
All 40 participants will undergo a practical traineeship, in real working conditions, at direct hosting partners, according to the professional training standards. The participants will carry out practical activities, according to the professional qualification, from Monday to Friday for 6 hours a day.
On Saturdays and Sundays, the cultural preparation of the participants will take place through documentary visits to different cultural and historical objectives.
The learning outcomes will be validated by issuing the Europass certificates and the ECVET transfer.
The results of the project will be:
1. Four internships (each intership will take 3 weeks), realized in real working conditions for four different qualifications.
2.The project webpage that will also serve as a platform for an exchange of good practices regarding practice internships for the “services” profile, high school.
3. The necessary Instruments in order to evaluate the practice internships, developed in real working conditions.
4.Vocational training program for two teachers specialized in professional practice, specific to the organization of traineeships in real working conditions.
The impact of the project will be reflected in the competencies acquired by all 40 participants. These competencies will facilitate their insertion on the labor market both locally and nationally and Europeanly.
