The project “Development of practical skills for the transition to the European labor market” comes to meet the needs
of our institution and of our quality vocational training students for the European labor market.
The participants’ needs are:
– the need to participate in internships in European companies in order to acquire practical skills regarding the hotel
services, the economic services and the food industry, which will contribute to a smoother insertion on the European
labor market.
– professional training in real working conditions within four European partners with ISO certification.
– personal and social development which will contribute to the easier adaptation to any working environment.
– strengthening the linguistic knowledge of English, Spanish and Portuguese.
The specific objectives of the project are:
– the acquisition during 3 weeks of practice in real working conditions, of new professional competences specific to
the professional qualification by the 50 participants.
– facilitating learning in the workplace for 50 participants, students of the Economic College Rm.Valcea.
– acquiring new life skills that will ease the transition from school to work for the 50 participants.
– the acquisition of new professional competences by the 4 teachers of practice regarding the organization of the
internships in real working conditions.
Within the project, a number of 50 participants, divided into 4 professional qualifications (technician in economic
activities, technician in tourism, technician in public food and technician in food industry) will undergo an internship in
real working conditions, with a duration of 3 weeks, according to the professional training standards specific to each
professional qualification.
The participants in the project are divided as follows:
– 10 participants, students in the 11th grade, service profile, qualification “technician in economic activities”.
– 10 participants, students in the 11th grade, service profile, qualification “technician in public nutrition”.
– 10 participants, students in the 11th grade, profile “services”, qualification “technician in tourism”.
-10 participants, students in the 10th grade, profile “services” qualification “technician in public nutrition”.
– 10 participants, students in the 10th grade, profile “services”, qualification “food industry”.
Thus, 4 professional qualifications will be covered out of 5 professional qualifications from the “services” profile, high
school.
Each mobility will have an accompanying teacher. It is necessary to have accompany teachers, because in each
mobility there will be at least 7 minor participants. The accompanying teachers will guide and supervise the
participants throughout the internship and will ensure that the practical activities are in line with the learning
objectives of the participants.
All 50 participants will undergo an internship, in real working conditions, with direct reception partners according to
the standards of professional training. The participants will carry out practical activities, according to the professional
qualification, from Monday to Friday for 6 hours daily.
On Saturdays and Sundays, the cultural preparation of the participants will take place by conducting documentary
visits to cultural and historical objectives.
The 4 practice teachers will undergo a training course regarding the organization of the internships in real working
conditions.
The results of the project will be:
1. Five practical stages of 3 weeks, carried out in real working conditions for four professional qualifications.
2. The web page of the project that will serve as a platform for the exchange of good practices in the field of
internships for the “services” profile, high school education.
3. Methodological booklet regarding the organization of internships of internships in real working conditions.
The implementation of the project will increase the visibility of the Erasmus + program at local, regional, national and
European level and increase the interest of the students to attend the courses of the Rm.Valcea Economic College.
